Diane Talbert
Diane Talbert has had psoriasis for more than 50 years and psoriatic arthritis for about 20 years. However, she was not diagnosed with PsA until 10 years ago. Her struggle with these conditions has continued since her initial diagnoses, but she has learned how to better manage the condition. While this battle has taken on a life of its own, she shares her pains to inspire not for pity; her triumphs are your triumphs in the hopes of touching the lives of those also affected by this autoimmune disease. She is a blogger and an advocate for psoriasis while educating others about this disease. It’s become her mission to help others with psoriasis and psoriatic disease know that they “can come out fighting.”
Diane looks forward to sharing, learning and growing with the community here and invite you to join her on this journey. In addition, Diane recently spoke at The Food and Drug Administration about her life with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. She attends Capitol Hill yearly and speaks at Town Hall Meetings about this disease. Her ultimate goal is to stop the stigma associated with this disease and ultimately find a cure.
