Shoe recommendations

Which shoes do you recommend to help ease foot pain?

  1. I have been wearing Skechers Stamina Nuovo's for close to ten years. It's a low-cut cross-training style sneaker. For me it's the best economical outdoor shoe. It has good arch support and an all-around snug feel while giving my toes the wiggle room they need. Unfortunately the SN style doesn't have velcro ties. They have enough flexibility at the top that I can leave them permanently tied and slip them on like a loafer and still get lower ankle support (they don't feel dangerously ankle loose). While they don't have the walking-on-clouds feel of high-end "air's", they are rugged and last longer than many. I find it an excellent shoe for the price. $40-$50 depending on the seller, state, etc.

    1. Hi rojo that's so interesting most of my problems are my feet so gonna look into those, thank you so much. hope you are feeling well today take care.

  2. Hi Rebecca,
I discovered a brand of shoe that I love. They are called Jambu and they have so many cute and comfortable styles. You can go to the website but I noticed Zulily runs special prices on these shoes. They are a little expensive but to me it is worth it to be comfortable. I also like sketchers go walk, super comfy.

    1. My podiatrist recommended Brooks tennis shoes and green “super feet” insoles. I just started wearing them and they seem really supportive where I need it most. (Heels and arches). I’m hoping they will make my feet feel better.

      1. How are the new shoes feeling? Would you reccommend to others? -Jake, Psoriatic-Arthritis.com Team

    2. Yes the Brooks shoes are very supportive. Though when your feet are swollen, nothing really feels that great.

      1. Ah yes - swollen feet likely don't feel so good crammed inside any shoes. Glad to hear these shoes were a good choice for you, though! -Jake, Psoriatic-Arthritis.com Team
