Newly diagnosed

Hi everyone! I have been following the articles.on here but I'm just now getting into the forums. I was diagnosed about a month ago and put on sulfasalizine. I still haven't seen any improvements, although I guess not sleeping 10+ hours a night is a slight improvement (although I do like sleep so that didn't bother me). I have been dealing with what I thought was osteoarthritis for at least 10 yrs but over the past few it seems like more and more joints were getting arthritic and that didn't make sense to me. Plus add on the constant tendonitis in my achilles and elbows and I decided to start doing research. Long story short, I approached my primary care doctor with all my symptoms instead of giving them to her piecemeal and she sent me to a rheumatologist who confirmed PsA. I'm trying to learn as much as I can to make lifestyle changes (please don't tell me I should stop drinking diet Coke- I know I should for several reasons, but dang it's my only vice!!). Any advice would be great but mostly I'm so happy to have found this forum!!
