Working with Psoriatic Arthritis

Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis 1 year ago. It started in my feet, then my hands, which started spreading up my arms. 1 year down the line, and after methotrexate failed to help, I am now on Sulfasalazine.

I work in an office which has just been exasperating my condition. My hands are constantly swollen and I struggle to even do my kids hair in the morning. I am off work at the moment as I am not able to sit on an office chair. I was going between sitting and standing, but if I sit I get pains in my lower back and thighs, and when I stand I get pains in my feet, knees, and shoulders.

Did anyone else have to give up their work due to their condition?

I am 39 and just worry that this is my life from now on.

Thanks
