PSA and My Treatment Regimen

My PSA was diagnosed over a year ago. Was mostly in my knees and feet. It has gotten progressively worse. Now it’s in my hip lower back fingers and wrists. Started on methotrexate, then Humira then Xeljanz each for 3-4 months with no results. On Orencia for 4 months and nothing yet. Going to give it 6 months before switching.

Pain medicines Nucybta. New opioid with no side effects. Yep, that’s right NO Side effects. I take 50 mg 2-3 times a day starting in afternoon-evening. I have great insurance so they cover it. New and expensive. Take is little as possible do it works better. There is no high, no constipation, no nausea.

Lyrica. Take 50 mg 3 times a day. Don’t think it is doing anything.

Modafinil. 1/2 tablet in the morning to ease tiredness, fatigue and brain fog. Works great. Used for narcolepsy. Only take a half or you will have trouble sleeping.

Zolpiderm. For nights when sleeping is a must. Try to avoid two nights in a row to not become dependent.

This regimen keeps me going but for how long I don’t know. Need one of these overhyped wonder drugs that cost more than a house to actually do something.
